Get to it
On a freestanding cabinet that is a grille. On a fully integrated column it is behind a panel and behind your own cabinet front, which is why this costs more here than the same job elsewhere.

Clean it properly
Not a pass with a vacuum. A condenser packed with the fine grey dust of a coastal kitchen is insulated, and insulation is the opposite of what a condenser is for.

Check what the air is doing around the cabinet
Clearances the installation never had, a cabinet pushed back into its housing, a heat source that arrived later. All of these are named in the manual and none of them is a part.

Run time and temperature. If cleaning fixed it, the numbers say so; if it did not, the next step is a real diagnosis rather than a second cleaning.

How often should this be done here?
