Monolith is the line Liebherr names for its fully integrated columns, and ten cabinets in the current US catalog carry it: MRB 2400, MRB 3010 and MRB 3600 on the refrigerator side, MF 1851, MF 2461, MF 3051 and MF 3661 on the freezer side, and MW 1810, MW 2400 and MW 2401 for wine. Why installation is on a repair company’s price list
Because most of what we are called out to on built-in refrigeration in the first two years is installation rather than manufacture: a clearance that was never there, a door that was never aligned, a water line that was never properly tested. Getting it right once is cheaper than the visits that follow getting it wrong.

We are having a kitchen fitted. When should you come?
After the joinery is in and before the fronts are final, if the schedule allows. Levelling and alignment are much easier before everything around the appliance is fixed.
Does the installation really affect how long it lasts?
On built-in refrigeration, yes and measurably. Clearance decides how well heat leaves, level decides how the door seals, and both decide how long the compressor runs for the same cold. It is the least visible thing on this list and the one with the longest tail.
